How do you organize a fun rally yourself?

Want to give your family, friends or your club a fun day? Here's how to do it in five clear steps!

What is Rijdoor?

Rijdoor offers car treasure hunts throughout the Netherlands. Each tour has ten photo puzzles and ten questions or assignments. Rijdoor chooses the routes so that you go over the nicest driving roads in that region. That means: as many winding roads as possible.

By linking routes you can organize your own rally.

Step 1 - Choose your route!

Via the overview on the website of Driveway you can filter by province. If you move your mouse over the routes you can quickly see how the global route goes. If you want more detail, click on the route itself.

Step 2 - Create a program

Where do you want to start? What time? What is a suitable catering facility? Do you want to start with coffee and something tasty? Do you want to end with a drink or dinner? It's up to you! An easy schedule is as follows:

Please note that the driving time of the routes is three to four hours. Do people need to have lunch on the way? Build in a lunch where everyone gathers again.

Step 3 - Pick a date and ask who's coming!

Have you got your program ready? Send it around to your participants and ask who wants to come along. Also let them know what contribution you are asking of them.

It is wise to mention a dead line so that you can order.

Step 4 - Order the routes!

Go to Rijdoor.nl and order the route of your choice. Rijdoor.nl automatically links the routes to each other!

You will receive the login codes by return mail, so that you can even order just in advance. It is more relaxing to do this at least a day in advance.

Step 5 - Communicate!

Once you have received the login codes, you can let each team know their code.

What would be useful is to send everyone their code with instructions to get it in advance Rijdoor.app to put on his or her phone.

Please note: this is a mobile website, so participants should not search for Rijdoor in the Appstore or Google Play!

During the rally, photos taken by participants via Rijdoor.app are posted in a timeline. This way you can watch them afterwards.
